In the 1960s, when American troops began to visit Thailand to rest and relax, the travel industry took hold of that opportunity in Thailand and it blossomed into a thriving, booming aspect of Thailand’s culture. There are a huge number of different attractions in the country, from museums, archeological sites, wild nightlife, a myriad of tropical plants and animals, and gorgeous beaches that you can lounge on as long as you want. Travel to Thailand also wouldn’t be complete unless you went out shopping, as there are far too many local and international brands to pass up on any trip.
