The state of Kansas is known as the home of Dorothy Gale, the heroine of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. But the state is also full of great vacation activities, such as historical sites like the Smoky Hill Museum. Kansas is where the ‘old west’ begins and still today you can see buffalo herds roaming the plains.
