Montana is known for its sweeping grasslands and high mountains. It is also known for its wide open spaces. Don’t forget to visit Little Big Horn while you are there and pay homage to the 7th cavalry and George Armstrong Custer. You will get a surprise when you hear both sides of this particular military battle, something history class never teaches.
